What makes Byron so special?

Byron Bay might be a bit wierd and wacky but it has so much beauty and soul and that's what we love about it. People here smile, stop and talk. They don't rush and they don't care too much about the time. They do care about health, happiness and freedom. You will find that in Byron, things like shoes are optional.

Byron is a place to play. To be a bit naughty. Perhaps you may allow yourself to slow down here - even to stop and be quiet. Byron has a stillness just as it has a vibrancy. You just have to find what you are looking for. It is here. Somewhere.
